Concert stream from 3 February 2020
With his contemplative and mystical musical language characterised by great simplicity, Arvo Pärt is one of the most frequently performed living composers. His works are among the most popular compositions in the concert world and are characterised by his Christian attitude to life and his artistic striving for spirituality, truthfulness and purity.
The Elbphilharmonie featured several of Pärt's most important works. Alongside the composer himself, therefore a number of Pärt experts came to the Elbphilharmonie: the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and conductor Tõnu Kaljuste.
Note: For licensing reasons, only the work »Adam’s Lament« is still available as a concert stream.
