For years, the »Made in Hamburg« series has been bringing the creative diversity of the local music scene to the Recital Hall of the Elbphilharmonie. In the latest episode of the Elbphilharmonie Mixtape, ByteFM presenter Sonka Hinders explores the series and chats with Älice about her musical background and current projects. The Hamburg-based rapper, frontwoman of Moop Mama and former singer with Chefboss, embodies the city’s fresh, multifaceted sound with her acclaimed album »Wo die Mango wächst«.
Well-known bands and exciting newcomers united in one series: »Made in Hamburg« features top acts with close ties to the Hanseatic city. Whether it’s indie pop from Shitney Bears, electro-fusion from SKoon or rock from Herrenmagazin – this season, Hamburg once again showcases the rich musical diversity to be experienced in the city’s concert halls and clubs.

R&B, dancehall and Latin pop – Älice’s genre-blending sound is upbeat and sunny. At her concert at the Elbphilharmonie, she will be presenting her new album.
