»Touch Your Soul and Sing!«
Chor zur Welt 2023/24
Singing connects us: people from more than 15 countries come together in the Chor zur Welt
Description
In the Elbphilharmonie’s Chor zur Welt, people from more than 15 countries sing together – sometimes in Arabic, Congolese or German. They all share a curiosity about the music of other cultures and enjoy the fun of experimenting with their own voices. For the project in the 2023/24
season, the choir is working with the singer, songwriter and producer Ramadu from Zimbabwe. »Ubuntu« – humanity is the motto of the musical programme in which the singers and Ramadu explore the vocal music of southern Africa together.
