Elbphilharmonie Open Days 21–22 October 2023: A discovery tour of the Elbphilharmonie foyers, concert halls and backstage areas. It’ll be worth popping in!

Welcome!

It’s that time again: the Elbphilharmonie opens its doors and invites you to discover exciting details of the building. Did you know that you can see the ceiling of the foyer on the 16th floor while standing on the Plaza? Or that the audience tribune in the Recital Hall can be completely retracted into the rear wall?

This, and much more can be explored during the Open Days. In addition to interesting insights and a fantastic view over Hamburg, a varied programme awaits: music in all three concert halls of the Elbphilharmonie, technical shows in the Grand Hall, demonstrations of the organ and in-house concert grand pianos as well as hands-on instrumental workshops and short backstage tours. In addition, »The Westin Hamburg« hotel in the Elbphilharmonie offers short guided tours.
