When the Hamburg docklands start to fill up for the port anniversary celebrations, there's quite a bit to be seen on the Elbphilharmonie forecourt as well: during the celebrations, the steps in front of the building turn into an open-air arena for concert fans.
From 5-7 May, concert recordings from the Elbphilharmonie's past seasons will be shown: world-famous orchestras, exceptional soloists, from classical, jazz and world music to programmes for children – there's something for everyone!

Special Information
Hamburg's port anniversary celebrations are expected to attract a large number of visitors: some roads around the Elbphilharmonie are closed to traffic and access is very limited. We recommend that visitors use public transportation and allow plenty of time for getting to the Elbphilharmonie.
