In the 1980s and 90s he topped the charts around Europe with »Macho, Macho« – and since then he has simply never stopped writing unforgettable tunes, among them »Es lebe der Sport« and the secret Austrian national anthem »I’m from Austria«. Fendrich is a born entertainer, be that as a presenter, actor or singer – the roguish charm and the voice with a hint of Viennese dialect are hard to resist.
