Information on ticket refunds for cancelled events

Over the last few months, the coronavirus pandemic has meant that events have had to be postponed or cancelled. A number of promoters are refunding the ticket price for cancelled events where it has not been possible to reschedule. Some promoters are resorting to the legal provision for issuing vouchers.

You’ll find further information about refunds and the form here. Please complete one form per event.

How did you buy your ticket?

Online

You booked your tickets in the Elbphilharmonie online store and received them directly as print@home or mobile tickets?

You will be refunded the purchase price via the payment method originally used for the booking. You don’t need to do anything else. Please note that this process can take a few weeks.

By phone

You booked your tickets by phone on the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle ticket hotline +49 40 357 666 66 and received them by email as print@home tickets?

Please fill out the refund form.

In person

You received your tickets by post or purchased them directly at one of the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle ticket shops?

Please fill out the refund form, print it out and send it to us along with the original tickets, to this address:

You have a subscription

Do you have a subscription to concerts by HamburgMusik gGmbH, NDR, Symphoniker Hamburg, Ensemble Resonanz and/or Kammermusikfreunde Hamburg, and (if applicable) you have a corresponding Subscription Card?

Please fill out the refund form. The sum refunded to you is calculated as a proportion of the total price of the subscription. The individual concerts of a subscription may be weighted differently.

Other sales channels

You bought your tickets through any website other than elbphilharmonie.de (e.g. eventim.de) or were forwarded from elbphilharmonie.de to an external website, bought the tickets personally at an external ticket office or booked them via a telephone hotline that does not belong to the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle?

If so, please contact the respective ticket shop or the promoter directly. You can find the promoter listed at the bottom of the information provided on each event in the concert calendar.

If you have purchased tickets for a concert organised by Konzertdirektion Dr. Rudolf Goette, please use the Promoter’s returns form. Customers of this promoter will receive a voucher. If you have already submitted a request for a ticket refund to us, you don’t need to do anything – we will forward your tickets to Konzertdirektion Goette.
