Sternensaal

The Hamburg Planetarium has been housed in the former Winterhude water tower since the year 1930, making it one of the oldest theatres showing shows about astronomy and the night sky in the world, and the most popular one in the German-speaking countries with some 300,000 visitors a year. The Earth and its place in the cosmos are the centre of the extensive programme. In addition, visitors to the Planetarium experience worlds of music, lights and literature at close quarters.
