Around 50 Curators support the Freundeskreis in a very special way. Their substantial contribution makes extraordinary things possible. Following a long tradition of civic engagement, Curators create important financial flexibility that directly benefits the concert programmes of both halls. Per person: €1,300 per calendar year
Minimum duration 1 year. You can terminate your membership as a Curator at any time without giving a reason.

Freundeskreis Elbphilharmonie + Laeiszhalle e.V. is registered as a non-profit organisation. Membership fees and other contributions are tax-deductible as donations. Receipts can be issued upon request.

What is the difference between Friends and Curators?

You can show your support through Freundeskreis Elbphilharmonie + Laeiszhalle e.V. in two ways: as a Friend or as a Curator. Friends are the foundation of the organisation. As a token of our thanks, Friends will receive invitations to exclusive events, advance booking rights for concert tickets and the Friends Card, which offers 10% discount off many concerts.

Curators make a notable contribution and thereby create important financial flexibility, which directly benefits the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle concert programme and makes exceptional funding projects possible. Curators also receive further exclusive offers as a thank you.
What is the duration of a membership?

Membership as a Friend is usually taken out for the current calendar year, and is automatically renewed for a further year each year. You can terminate your membership as a Curator at any time without giving a reason.
How are membership fees used?

The membership fees finance the administrative office and activities of the organisation. Above all, the income of the Freundeskreis Elbphilharmonie + Laeiszhalle e.V. goes to support the musical projects of the two concert halls.

Can I buy a membership as a gift?

Yes, this is also possible! Give one year’s membership of Freundeskreis Elbphilharmonie + Laeiszhalle e.V. as a gift – simply fill out the online application form.
When and how can I terminate a membership?

The minimum duration of membership is 1 year. Membership as a Friend can be terminated at the end of each calendar year, giving three months’ notice by post or email. You can terminate your membership as a Curator at any time without giving a reason. To do so, please contact the administrative office.

Can I get involved as a volunteer?

The Freundeskreis Elbphilharmonie + Laeiszhalle e. V. is supported by a permanent team of volunteer staff. The board also works on a voluntary basis. The association also coordinates volunteer involvement for the two concert halls. If you are interested, please email ehrenamt@elbphilharmonie.de
