Our current funding projects

The Freundeskreis has been supporting musical projects at the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle for many years. In the 2025/26 season, the association will provide HamburgMusik gGmbH with a total of €330,000, which comes from membership fees and donations. 

Since 2011, the Freundeskreis has also been patron of the Ensemble Resonanz, which, as the Elbphilharmonie's resident ensemble, adds originality to the musical programme.

On the occasion of the Elbphilharmonie's fifth birthday, the renowned artist duo Studio DRIFT created "Breaking Waves", a work of art that set the stage for the building's exterior with a very special light installation.
