Wagner: Tannhäuser / Frederic Böhle
Opera in 90 minutes
Great music in a mini format
The soloists’ ensemble D’Accord has garnered international attention in recent years with their one-hour opera versions. With »Lohengrin«, »Tristan und Isolde« and »Tannhäuser« in the pocket-opera format, the ensemble has given performances in Wagner’s villa Wahnfried during the Bayreuth Festival, at Hohenschwangau Castle, where Wagner visited King Ludwig II., and at the Elbphilharmonie in October 2021. The versions performed were programmed by orchestras such as the Iceland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
