»If there is such a thing as the golden generation of contemporary German literature with an immigrant background, then Saša Stanišić is its sweeper,« writes Die ZEIT. In 2019, Stanišić, who lives in Hamburg, was awarded the German Book Prize for »Herkunft« (Where You Come From). Since then, he has read from the book many times throughout Germany and thrilled his audience. He now appears at Harbour Front Sounds with a very special programme, accompanied by the Bosnian musician Merima Ključo.
