Romana Noack / Klaus-Dieter Jung
»Musen«
Mathilde, Alma, Mignon – three extraordinary women who played a key part in the creation of the songs performed in this concert. And who, in addition to their complex relationships with the composers, also expressed their own creativity: Mathilde Wesendonck as a poet, Alma Mahler as a composer and, as a muse at second-hand, the girl Mignon from Goethe’s novel »Wilhelm Meister’s Apprenticeship«, who has inspired numerous composers, including Robert Schumann, to set her lieder to music. Transforming into Mignon in this lieder recital is the soprano Romana Noack, accompanied on the piano by her long-standing musical partner Klaus-Dieter Jung.
