NDR Radiophilharmonie / Pierre Bleuse
Kaija Saariaho / Thomas Larcher – Elbphilharmonie Visions
Grande dame of contemporary music
The NDR Radiophilharmonie and the conductor Pierre Bleuse present the Clarinet Concerto »D’Om le Vrai Sens« at the Elbphilharmonie, which was completed in 2010 by Finland’s grande dame of contemporary music, Kaija Saariaho. The solo part is performed by Hungarian clarinettist Boglárka Pecze, who has received acclaim for her readings of contemporary compositions in particular. We can also look forward to the new work »Time« by Austrian composer Thomas Larcher that will have its first performance in Germany tonight.
