Monteverdi-Chor Hamburg / Göttinger Barockorchester

The Monteverdi Choir Hamburg has enriched the musical life of this Hanseatic city for 60 years. The dedicated singers not only delight their local fans over and over again, they also represent the City of Hamburg and its university on their extensive concert tours around the globe. Following the suggestion of choirmaster, Gothart Stier, and despite its traditional a cappella focus, the choir has also dedicated itself in recent years to major choral symphonic works.
