Tchaikovsky and Brahms for charity

The Haydn Orchestra Hamburg presents a major charity concert under the direction of Rida Murtada and with Sarah Christian as soloist. The charitable work of the NRV Foundation will be presented at the beginning of the evening. Conductor Rida Murtada will then offer a brief introduction to the artistic and musical significance of Tchaikovsky’s moving Violin Concerto and Brahms’ popular Second Symphony. Half of the net proceeds from the concert, which is jointly organised by the Lions Club Hamburg-Elbufer and the NRV Foundation, will go to the »Onko-Piraten« charity supported by the NRV Foundation and half to the »Gesundheitsmobil der Hamburger Obdachlosenhilfe« (Health Mobile).
