Beethoven in the finale

The Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester’s guest performances at Elbphilharmonie Summer have already become something of a tradition. Formed by the late Claudio Abbado, the youth orchestra – whose members come together from all over Europe numerous times each year – has already performed twice at the summer festival. This year, they are performing under the Austrian conductor Manfred Honeck in the grand finale.
