Ensemble Tityre
Works by Female British Composers
With the very special line-up of flute, oboe, piano and an actor, the Hamburg ensemble Tityre has been exploring the boundaries between theatre and chamber music for more than ten years. Music by female composers has been a particular focus for the ensemble from the very beginning. They have already given guest performances of their »Weibermusik« (Women’s Music) programme at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and at the Laeiszhalle. The four musicians now turn their attention to women composers from the British Isles – with the programme »Unbeschreiblich weiblich« (Indescribably Female).
