Emmanuel Pahud / Andreas Ottensamer / Kammerakademie Potsdam
Eichner / Danzi / Mendelssohn
Virtuosity and beautiful playing
Not only with the Berliner Philharmonic have Emmanuel Pahud and Andreas Ottensamer been a well-rehearsed team for years now: even when they appear together as soloists, they can rely on one another 100 per cent. Tonight they show every facet of their art in a concert where they are accompanied by the Kammerakademie Potsdam. When the warm, melodious sound of the clarinet joins forces with the airy lightness and brilliance of the flute, very special musical moments result. The two instruments caress one another, then get embroiled in a virtuoso contest before making up their differences in the loveliest harmony at the end. Beautiful playing and virtuosity are guaranteed.
