Founded in 1985 at Berlin’s Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, the Vogler Quartet achieved international fame just a year later when it won first prize at the string quartet competition in Evian. The members of the quartet have remained unchanged over the years, and their extensive repertoire covers classical quartet literature as well as lesser-known works and contemporary music.
