CANCELLED: Valgeir Sigurðsson / Daniel Pioro / Liam Byrne

As a sound engineer, the Icelandic musician and producer Valgeir Sigurðsson has worked together with such world stars as Björk, Sigur Rós, Cocorosie, the Kronos Quartet and Hilary Hahn. In 2006 Sigurðsson got together with the composers Nico Muhly and Ben Frost to set up a label and artists’ collective under the name »Bedroom Community«; other well-known musical figures soon joined in, and the Community has achieved quite a reputation in the meantime. Now Sigurðsson, violinist  Daniel Pioro and the viol player Liam Byrne present works of their own and adaptations of Early Music  for violin, viola da gamba and electronica live in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall. Last November the three creative musicians delighted the audience in the Philharmonie de Paris with their filigree combination of music, visual imagination and performance.
