In this unique project Sebastian Manz and Sebastian Studnitzky focus on the great Leonard Bernstein. »A Bernstein Story« is a project that blends jazz and classical music, and it would certainly have been to »Lenny’s« liking. How do you approach the great Leonard Bernstein after the anniversary year of 2018, during which every facet of his life work was explored? You can hardly approach Bernstein the conductor, the composer, the pianist, the intellectual, the teacher and the admonisher without being overwhelmed by awe. Sebastian Manz and Sebastian Studnitzky have dared to do so nevertheless, and have chosen a completely new approach to boot.
