Morbidity with Character« – a concept concert from the Baroque to the modern era, from the harpsichord to the melophone, from the aria to the folk song: the young quartet »Ensemble Verbotene Frucht« (the name means ’Forbidden Fruit’) has set itself the goal of presenting music from different eras in an unusual setting. Gentle transitions between styles, special arrangements and the musicians’ versatility make their concerts a real experience.
Elbphilharmonie+ is a programme that opens up different ways of looking at the music performed at the Elbphilharmonie – either to supplement a concert, or as an experience in its own right. Interdisciplinary encounters and exhibitions form part of the Elbphilharmonie+ programme, as do concert talks and films shown in museums, libraries, cinemas and community centres.
