Jan Caeyers, the leading Beethoven interpreter of our time, and the Beethoven orchestra Le Concert Olympique he founded, are returning to the Elbphilharmonie after their successful debut in November. This time they are performing early masterpieces by composers who demonstrated their phenomenal talent at an early age. Beethoven was only 15 years old when he began work on his first piano concerto. Schubert wrote his Third Symphony Op. 200 when he was 18, and Bizet was only 17 when he composed his First Symphony. Claire Huangci returns to the Elbphilharmonie as a soloist for the piano concerto.
