Long-awaited debut
Zubin Mehta must be the last of the great conductors still to make his debut at the Elbphilharmonie. The Indian maestro can look back at a career spanning half a century as one of the world’s leading star conductors. For his Elbphilharmonie debut, Mehta now conducts two concerts on consecutive evenings with the opera orchestra from Florence.
