ADHD

The five albums released so far by the Icelandic band ADHD are symbols of the infinite expanses of the far north. The four members of the band have known one another since childhood; the group’s name is the acronym Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Their roots lie in jazz, and improvisation and spontaneous responses to the moment are still an important source of inspiration for their music. But on their latest album »6« – they copied the numbering of the records from Led Zeppelin – the four Icelanders sound a bit rougher and angrier than usual: music like a volcanic eruption.
