Description
With more than 140 high-quality music productions by international artists, SKIP has generated a very positive media and audience response for 20 years now – the chart standings, numerous ECHO Jazz prizes and other awards are testament to this. An illustrious line-up of artists from the label’s catalogue perform solo, in unusual ensembles and with surprise programmes at the anniversary concert in the Laeiszhalle Grand Hall.
Since it was founded in autumn 1999, SKIP Records has become one of Europe’s leading independent labels – with a discerning catalogue that impresses with its consistently high artistic quality and outstanding recording technology. The releases cover a variety of genres ranging from jazz and world music to R&B and sophisticated pop.
