Four top musicians, one exceptional band. All driven by a passion for jazz. They are all in great demand with their own projects, but they have now joined forces as a quartet. The Swedish trombonist and singer Nils Landgren has been a leading figure in European jazz for more than 25 years. On the piano is »the consummate master« (FAZ), Michael Wollny, who »can, from any music imaginable, create an experience that takes your breath away« (Süddeutsche Zeitung). The Swede Lars Danielsson is a master of harmony and a sensitive melodist on the double bass and cello. And last but not least, Wolfgang Haffner, »Germany’s coolest drummer« (ARD ttt) and groove-master no. 1, takes to the drums. Together, these four outstanding soloists and team players exude incredible energy: this rare event promises to be a captivating and fast-paced concert.
