The jazz legends from the other side of the Atlantic travel to Hamburg with a large-scale ensemble. Busy American bass player Christian McBride, Cuban superstar Chucho Valdés and singer Lizz Wright can all be heard at the Elbphilharmonie with outstanding big bands. The series also offers a reunion with sax player Charles Lloyd, who at the age of 82 still has not lost his love of experiment.
