Youssou N’Dour − one of Africa’s leading voices – got the Elbphilharmonie audience dancing in 2018 and the Cape Verdean singer Lura is more than his equal with regard to stage energy. The multi-instrumentalist quartet DakhaBrakha blends Ukrainian folk melodies and alternative rock to create a captivating »ethno-chaos«, and the mandolin virtuoso Avi Avital invites you to join him on a border-defying journey around the Black Sea with a large ensemble and the Rustavi Choir from Georgia. This subscription series opens up musical worlds.
