Finding your own creativity

»Elbphilharmonie Soundtracker« is a mobile workshop programme in which a small team of specialists from the Elbphilharmonie travels to schools throughout Hamburg to get creative with pupils. Multidisciplinary sound works – »soundtracks« – are created in several consecutive workshops. The Soundtracker instruments consist of unusual percussion instruments and the latest digital tools, and musical instruments available in the respective schools can also be integrated. In the end, all participants benefit from a new awareness of creative experimentation and improvisation.

Workshops

  • Part 1: Exercises that sensitise you to different sounds, noises, silence and perception in general
  • Part 2: Developing your first rhythms, beats and loops
  • Part 3: Consolidate processes/content, first soundtrack drafts
  • Part 4: Combination of all workshop contents into one result

The workshops can be flexibly adapted to the curricula. They can tie in with regular lessons or take place within the framework of project weeks, in the elective area or in practical music courses. Previous musical knowledge is not necessary. If none of the dates available via the booking form fit into your schedule, please contact the Elbphilharmonie team by email at mitmachen@elbphilharmonie.de.

The offer is aimed at schoolchildren from school year 9 and above.
