Voices of Aotearoa – Stimmen aus Neuseeland / Voices New Zealand
What’s the sound of the Pacific? The ensemble Voices New Zealand, whose latest programme combines classical European choral works with the sound of their homeland, provides one possible answer. The ensemble has specially invited the Māori musician Horomona Horo, who plays a range of traditional Māori instruments, adding ancient sounds to the Western European choral repertoire.
