The Vocal Line choir – which performs around the world – was formed by Jens Johansen in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1991, and he is still the director of the a-cappella choir to this day. Over the years, Vocal Line has constantly sought to expand the boundaries of a-cappella music and reach ever higher levels of musical achievement. The choir has roots in the vibrant Danish choral tradition – and has, from that starting point, developed a strong individual style with elements from pop, rock and jazz.
