Composers up close

The members of the Boulanger Trio love to spark a curiosity about advanced sounds. The musicians see their concert series as a homage to Nadia Boulanger and her legendary Paris salons, in which the musical and literary elite of her time would gather. In their convivial Boulangerie format, they forge a bridge from the traditional chamber music repertoire to the music of today. The evening is given additional depth with a casual on-stage conversation between the musicians and a guest composer – this time the Austrian Thomas Larcher, who is widely regarded as one of the most interesting and original voices in the contemporary scene.
