The Great Johann Strauss Christmas Gala

The Johann Strauss Christmas Gala presents the most popular melodies and dances from the »Golden Age« of Viennese operetta. On the programme: the »Wiener Blut« waltz, cheerful polkas such as »Unter Donner und Blitz« (Thunder and Lightning) and arias and choruses from the »Fledermaus« and the »Gypsy Baron«. The Prague Musical Theatre and the Prague Festival Orchestra complement Strauss’s melodies with those of Jacques Offenbach, Carl Zeller and Karl Millöcke. With dancing by the Johann Strauss Ballet Prague.
