With a new concert specially added to the programme, the NDR ElphCellisten made their thoroughly successful debut in the Elbphilharmonie’s sold-out Grand Hall in May 2017. Now the ensemble formed from the ranks of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra can be heard again in the same location. With arrangements of popular pieces written just for them, they take the audience on a new musical journey through various eras of music history – full of poetry, South American rhythms and with a soupçon of humour.
