In the 1950s Chris Barber’s band was already regarded as one of Europe’s most successful traditional jazz bands. Well-known hits include »Bourbon Street Parade«, »When the Saints Go Marching In«, »Petite Fleur« and Miles Davis’s »All Blues«. The musicians that make up Barber’s band are not only soloists of extraordinary musicality and astonishing improvisational skills, but also entertainers with proverbial British dry humor.
