»Song Book« is the product of an unusual musical and literary cooperation between writer Martin Suter and chansonnier Stephan Eicher. With their joint work, which the two Swiss artists also present live for the first time in Germany in March, they have fulfilled a long-cherished dream. Martin Suter’s anecdotes riddled with self-irony and Eicher’s subtle, often melancholy song texts in best Bern German complement each other perfectly.
