The American jazz singer Stacey Kent is regarded as one of the greatest talents of her generation. Strongly influenced by London’s jazz scene, she published her debut »Close Your Eyes« in 1997. Several more albums followed, as did awards such as the British Jazz Award, the BBC Jazz Award and the German Jazz Award. She now presents her first album with an orchestra: »I Know I Dream« combines bossa nova classics, chansons, American standards and original compositions by Stacey Kent’s husband, the saxophonist Jim Tomlinson, with lyrics by songwriter and author Kazuo Ishiguro.
