Praised as »a pioneer for the new generation of classical guitarists« (BBC Radio), Michael Christian Durrant is one of England’s most outstanding young artistic personalities. In the summer of 2023, the London guitarist and Hamburg classical music presenter Mischa Kreiskott will present a »Spanish Night« at the Elbphilharmonie: a journey full of musical impressions with works by Tárrega, Albéniz and Bach, among others.

The »Solo Moments« series presents impressive young artists in concert and in conversation. As part of that, the musicians select works that have had a special musical and personal impact on them. The concert is presented by Holger Wemhoff, who has already worked with classical stars such as Anna Netrebko, Lang Lang and Andreas Ottensamer.
