Clara Schumann was one of the most important musicians of her time, but her work as a composer has long been underestimated. 2019 marks the 200th anniversary of her birth. The outstanding pianist’s intense friendship with Johannes Brahms helped keep Clara Schumann’s memory alive among later generations. Pianist Sina Kloke is highly regarded for her sensitive feeling for sound and her polished technique. For her debut at the Elbphilharmonie she has chosen a programme with works by Clara Schumann, George Enescu and Johannes Brahms.
