Mix these together and you get the melodic jazz of the Silvan Joray Trio – featuring the bandleader’s catchy and imaginative compositions performed by musicians in perfect attunement to each other. In this concert, Joray presents his new album »Updraft«, which he recorded with the star drummer Jeff Ballard. The Spanish saxophonist Gianni Gagliardi also makes an exclusive appearance. Together, with great panache and humour, they take the audience on a musical journey of discovery, the stages of which are sprinkled with playful interaction, dreamy melodies and inspiring rhythms.
