The Seemanns-Chor Hamburg is a four-part male choir with some 50 active singers and several soloists, as well as two accordionists. In addition to popular seafaring songs and shanties, their wide repertoire includes songs from Hamburg and the North Sea coast, international folk songs, sophisticated concert pieces and well-known opera choruses. The choir is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a jubilee concert in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie.
