Rita Ora
Channel Aid Live in Concert
In July 2017, video platform YouTube launched its first charity channel with the name Channel Aid. The proceeds that the channel generates from advertising will be donated exclusively to support social projects. In the shortest space of time, Channel Aid has grown into a project that big YouTube names are taking an interest in. Thus the channel’s producers were able to win the participation of British pop singer Rita Ora for their concert at the Elbphilharmonie. Alongside Rita Ora, the concert will feature one of the first YouTube stars, the American singer Max, plus Nicole Cross, a German singer with nearly a million YouTube subscribers, and Italian pianist Costantinos Carrara. It will be broadcast live on YouTube, and, of course, the proceeds will go to a good cause.
