Quatuor Arod

Quatuor Arod takes its name from a wild horse in J. R. R. Tolkien’s novel »The Lord of the Rings«. The doors to the world’s chamber music halls opened for the four young Frenchmen when they won the First Prize at the ARD Music Competition in Munich in 2016. The ensemble now presents quartet works from the periods of Viennese classicism, late romanticism and modernism at the Elbphilharmonie.
