In their new programme »Di Eyne Velt«, the klezmer band Mischpoke continue to blend various styles and intercultural influences without losing the spirit of the klezmorim: at times traditional, as in the medley »Happy Klezmorim«, at other times very Yiddish, as in »Lidele in yidish«. They also draw on fiery Romanian influences in »Hora Martisorului« and demonstrate a certain jazzy flair in »Oyf der zuniker zayt fun der gas«. In the epic song »Chant«, Mischpoke pays homage to the Jewish composer and violinist Paul Kirmann.
