Jon Hopkins, influenced over many years by experiences with meditation and transcendence, moves through a self-created universe that expands inexorably, only to ultimately contract again into an infinitely small dot. On that journey he seamlessly combines raw techno, choral melodies, solo piano parts and psychedelic ambient. With his new programme »Polarity«, Jon Hopkins strikes a new path, putting the different elements of hardness and fragility in his music in a completely new context.
