Dance in the Elbphilharmonie: For this unusual combination, the Copenhagen Trio Vitruvi led by Alexander McKenzie brings dancers of the Royal Danish Ballet to Hamburg. In »Kammerballetten« (Chamber Ballets) they combine the intimacy of classical chamber music with modern ballet.

With their talent and passionate commitment, the dancers of the Royal Danish Ballet belong to the world’s dance elite. This applies equally to the young choreographer – Kristian Lever was recently awarded the Canadian Erik Bruhn Prize for his choreography of »An Intimate Distance« for the Hamburg Ballet.

This evening is being put on by the Christoph Lohfert Foundation, which has been supporting the cause of better safety and orientation for hospital patients for ten years. The proceeds from the concert will be donated to a project to improve patient orientation in hospitals.
