»Papa Haydns kleine Tierschau« or: »Wie klingt eine Giraffe?«
Family Concert / Hamburger Camerata
The composer Joseph Haydn, also known as »Papa Haydn«, has a big problem! He just can’t come up with anything clever for his latest symphony, which is to be called »The Giraffe«! Can his musicians help him? They play excerpts – arranged for wind quintet – from other »animal symphonies«, for example »The Bear« and »The Hen«...But no, that’s not it...He needs something new, something of his own for this »Giraffe«...What else is there? »The Confused« goes on »The Hunt« until »The Drumbeat« interrupts him...No, all not right...
Please note: this event takes place in German.
