NDR Late Night

Classical meets pop music – a new concert format in the Elbphilharmonie. The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra led by Thomas Hengelbrock and the N-JOY radio station present »Late Night« in the Grand Hall. An hour of rousing classical music – in this concert, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and songs by crossover pioneer George Gershwin. In the second half, musician Julian Perretta takes the stage: the 25-year-old Brit has already enjoyed great success with his debut album »Stitch Me Up« – and achieved a major breakthrough with his top-ten hit »Wonder Why«. N-JOY hosts Kuhlage und Hardeland lead guests through the evening.
